Day 51 of this godforsaken lockout and there’s some news that the MLBPA has requested the owners schedule a meeting for this coming Monday.

Even assuming that some kind of agreement is made on Monday, it would still take time to be voted on and signed, which would likely bring us to the first of second week of February. WHICH means that pitchers/catchers reporting on time hinges on this god damn meeting Monday. I’m not holding my breath and I’m fairly certain that we will be in March when pitchers and catchers report.
