Going into Sunday it looked like the Yankees were doomed into getting swept by the Rays once again at the Trop. The Yankees offense once again opened flat, it took a massive Gio homer to start the offense up before Aaron Hicks ended the three run inning with a bases loaded double play.

The Yankees problem is the construction of the lineup and that solely lays blame on Aaron Boone.
You can’t have one of your best hitters/power hitters batting at the two spot and have a guy that is not known for getting a ton of hits at the three spot.
