Our beloved Yankees have been riddled with injuries for the last 3 weeks, our starting lineup has been comprised of complete backups with the exception of a few players, but we made no moves at the deadline. Brian Cashman and his ultimate wisdom decided that this team, who has struggled against mediocre teams, was good as is.
What.
The.
Fuck.
This team needed at least one more hitting veteran to at least present the threat of a hit. Maybe I would’ve pressed for another starter or reliever at the bare minimum. Instead the Yankees thought this lineup can go against the best in MLB…
New series starts tonight.

Missing you’ll notice is Aaron Judge, out for at least 3 more weeks, Giancarlo Stanton, our for god knows how much more, Gleyber Torres, maybe another week or so, maybe. You will also notice Aaron Hicks missing after leaving Sunday’s game with cramps in both legs, I’m not even joking on that one.
Unless these guys get back and quick and produce, I can’t see this team making a playoff run and right now the playoffs are even looking murky.
