After a rainout yesterday that prevented both bullpens being featured in the game, Mother Earth washed the game over to tonight, where we have Tanaka v. Greinke for game 4.
Before every game, a manager/organization envisions the way a game might unfold. The script can change in the first inning. But, for the Yankees, Game 4’s script involves getting 6 or 7 effective innings from Tanaka and using Kahnle, Britton and Chapman for the remaining outs.

This will be the most important game of the series for the Yanks, tying the series at 2 would be a big boost going into game 5 but losing to Greinke would mean playing an elimination game throughout the rest of the series.
Boone said Ottavino has struggled with his command, but repeated that he’ll need to get important outs against the right-handed heavy Astros lineup. “He’s got to find a way to command his pitches and dictate counts,” said Boone. “If he does that, he will be successful.”

The bullpen again will be key, this will need to be a flawless performance on their part.
Bottom Line: Yanks are taking this one, bet the under!
