The new season of the EPL has already begun and our beloved Gunners start the season on Sunday against Newcastle. There is actually some excitement in the air as the boys have made some moves for quality players.

With skipper Emery in control and the team starting to mold with the players in his vision, hopefully this is the year we challenge for the league and at the very least top four and a Champions League berth. Of course this year no UCL but we are in the Europa, where we were runners up last season and the biggest threat will be fellow EPL team Manchester United.

There needs to be some kind of progress this year as Emery has had time to implement his strategies and the core team should know what the coach expects of them.

If the Gunners finally crack the UCL, Stan Kroenke will have no choice but to pump money into his pet team and force some attention to the team.

If the Gunners are unable to crack the UCL, Emery will definitely be on the bubble going into next season.
