This week finally sees the return of the NFL, albeit preseason games but I think we can agree that preseason NFL is better than the AAF.

Ordinarily Week 1 is about as fun to watch as watching paint dry but there are some matchups to watch!

Storyline: New look Browns featuring new WR OBJ, don’t look for too much work between Baker and OBJ but it will be the first real game featuring this duo.

Storyline: Newly signed Tom Brady and the Patriots face former coordinator Matt Patricia and btw the Lions beat the Patriots last year so look for quick work from TB12.

Storyline: Number one draft pick Kyler Murray and new head coach Kliff Kingsbury should make their NFL debut for the Cards, other than that don’t expect too much excitement.

Storyline: AB84 makes his debut for the Raiders against defending NFC champion Rams. Look for some work between the new Raider duo but look for the tuneup tour for the Rams to commence.

Storyline: The battle for NY is usually played week 3 in the preseason but these two teams will meet in the regular season this year. Second year QB will get a chance to play with new weapon Le’Veon Bell while the Giants and Saquon look to see what they have at WR.
