Yanks Sweep The Red Sox, Bury Them In The AL East

The Yanks were in the business of beating the Red Sox this weekend and let me tell you, business is GOOD! After sweeping the Red Sox this weekend, it’s safe to say that that Sox have been put out of their misery and can focus on the wild card race. The Sox are now 14.5 games out of first in the AL East and nearly half of that out of at least second place to the Rays.

The Yanks starting pitching was OK this weekend, not spectacular but certainly enough to make you believe this rotation had a shot in the playoffs.

Let’s also not forgot that David Price is owned by the Yankees at Yankee Stadium after being roughed up for seven runs in the finale.
