Oh boy, season 9 of The Walking Dead premieres this Sunday and begins the end of Rick Grimes. Andrew Lincoln has long teased that any season could be his last and through cryptic messages that had continued until the man himself confirmed it. There are many unknowns coming into this season, season 8 showed how Rick and Co. took down Negan but rather than kill him, Rick showed him mercy. Maggie, was none too pleased with Ricks decision and vowed to take Rick down. There’s been little to go by from the trailers released as of yet but one of the exciting additions will be Ryan Hurst who fans of Sons Of Anarchy will remember played Opie. Show runners and cast have eluded that again this season will be broken into two parts, with Rick seeing his finale in the first half. Filming of this season had original member and The Punisher himself, Jon Bernthal film scenes for what most likely are flashback scenes for Rick. Actors are talking redemption for bad ass Negan, I’m a fan of Negan. I know, I know, he’s a bad person but god damn do I love his bravado. Time will tell what happens to Rick but it all starts this Sunday, October 7th on AMC.
