The Yanks are finally starting to get hot, they played the Rays in game two of the set and completely dominated them to the tune of 9-2. The Kraken finally got going, going 2-4 with just a monster three run homerun in the third inning. The only low point of the night was Sevy, giving up the two runs in the third, he wasn’t the sharpest but through five innings he did strikeout seven. Domingo German, who earlier in the year was a starter, came in the ninth to close things out. The Yanks play the Rays tomorrow night and will send Tanaka to the mound, who will look to rebound from a rough last start. Tanaka will look for win number thirteen as it will more than likely be his last start of the regular season. The Yankees are finally starting to hit their groove and if this team can stay healthy, will do damage in the playoffs.
