NFL Week 3 Sunday Recap

Wow what a crazy day in the NFL this past Sunday, capped of by a Patriots loss to a former coach. The winless Giants and Texans duked it out in Houston with the Giants coming away with their first win of the season. That’s proof that if you give Eli five seconds to throw the ball he is deadly. The Giants faithful will proclaim that Eli is BACK, unless the G-Mens O Line can play like this consistently, you can chalk this win up to a blip.

The Saints and Falcons went to OT and flirted with a third week of ties in the NFL. Drew Brees, who passed Bret Favre on the all time completions list, took the game in his hands literally and ran for the game winning TD to go along with his three throwing touchdowns. The Bills beat one of the super bowl favorites, Vikings. You read that right, the Bill beat the Vikings! They beat the Vikes decidedly 27-6. The story of the night was Sunday Night Football, the Pats v. Lions. The Lions actually would end up winning behind their new coach and former Pats defensive coordinator, Matt Patricia. Final score was 26-10 and notes for the game were the Lions Kerryon Williams rushing for over 100 yards, it was the first time a Lion RB ran for over 100 yards since Thanksgiving 2013. Tom Brady was hold in check, throwing for only 133 yards.
