I don’t think it’s any surprise that since Aaron Judge has been back in the lineup, the Yankee offense has come alive. The Yankees offense thumped David Price and the Red Sox to a tune of 10-1. Luke Voit went 4-4 including 2 home runs, Miguel Andujar added his rookie leading 25th home run and the news of the night was the debut of Justus Sheffield. Sheffield who is Baseball America’s number twenty three rated rookie stumbled but closed out the ninth, sealing a Yankee win and ensuring that for at least one more night the Red Sox didn’t clinch the division. Sevy started and flipped the switch on the season, going 7 innings giving up one run and striking out six. This was a solid win, this team has to keep building in these wins of they are to bring momentum into the playoffs.
