Jets Preseason Is A Wrap

Tone

The final preseason game for the Jets ended in a 10-9 loss to the defending champs, Philadelphia Eagles. The game mostly without any of its presumptive opening day starters had a couple notes, the Jets new kicker Jason Meyers connected on a 58 yard field goal. We will surely need that leg in the regular season! Coach Bowles remains mum on who the opening day QB will be but the general consensus around the league is Sam Darnold will start. If he does start as expected, he is the odds on favorite to win offensive rookie of the year, which as a lifelong Jets fan I don’t believe has ever happen, it feels god damn good though. The Jets open the season against the Detroit Lions in Detroit for the first Monday Night Football game of the year.
