Seems like the only team the Yankees can beat are themselves. Another subpar showing this afternoon at the stadium led to yet another loss to the Rays by a score of 3-1. Stanton doubled in a run early in the game to put the Yankees on the board, which brings the 9th inning. With bases loaded and no outs brought up Greg Bird, Bird who lately has not a broken bone in his body with an ounce of fucking talent came up and guess what? Popped out to third on the first god damn pitch!! Great job jackass, Neil Walker should be the first baseman going forward and shelve Bird like Ellsbury. From there it didn’t get much better with two straight strikeouts to end the game and hand another loss to the boys in pinstripes. It’s getting to a point where I don’t know what team is showing up to play, both sides of the plate are playing like absolute garbage right now and this team desperately needs a spark. Aaron Judge cannot comeback fast enough!
