According to reports, though Ben Affleck and Fox won the bidding rights to the Monopoly scam movie there was fierce competition. Warner Bros. and Steve Carell, Netflix and Robert Downey Jr as well as the king himself, Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio all lost out to the Prince of Darkness. The crazy thing about this whole story is all I needed was friggin Boardwalk to win, dammit!
