A new mother in Maryland was found with traces of opiates in her system just prior to going into labor. The new mother claimed the only thing to be explained was the poppy seed bagels she had prior to going into labor. I’ve known some people to “eat” a poppy seed bagel too, we all like to believe we can “eat” poppy seed bagels but let’s face it, it’s probably not a great idea! If you are going to have a child maybe stay away from “eating” poppy seed bagels!
