Former Met Killer Jayson Worth says “Super Nerds” and analytics are killing baseball as we know it. You know what’s killing baseball, people complaining about everything from analytics to steroids to micro managing pitchers. Let these guys frigging play and shut up, on the one hand I say the old ways of throwing a guy out to pitch until he gets tired may have led to some injuries but god dammit those guys were fucking heroes. These guys who go out now and pitch five innings and get pulled because analytics say that after the fifth inning he will tweak his ball sack are utterly ridiculous. Former wrestler Edge has a point but it’s a part of the game now, a game that just like other sports is slowly dying from technology. Preach on Edge!
